Networks

You should not need to deploy an Unlock contract yourself. Here are the addresses of contracts deployed on respective networks and you can call them directly using the block explorer.

The core team has built a networks npm module that includes all the networks' addresses as well as rpc endpoints that you can use for debugging purposes: @unlock-protocol/networks.

Ethereum

The original and most secure EVM network. Gas fees are expensive on this network.

Goerli (Testnet)

Main Ethereum test network. Do not use for production.

Optimism

Optimism is a Layer 2 Optimistic Rollup network designed to utilize the strong security guarantees of Ethereum while reducing its cost and latency.

BNB Chain

The best-performing EVM compatible layer 1. Fully compatible tooling for EVM with up to 35 times of capacity.

Gnosis Chain

Gnosis Chain is one of the first Ethereum sidechains and has stayed true to its values.

Polygon

Polygon is a side-chain to build and scale your projects on Ethereum, the world's largest blockchain ecosystem.

Arbitrum

Arbitrum One is a Layer 2 (L2) chain running on top of Ethereum Mainnet that enables high-throughput, low cost smart contracts operations.

Celo

Celo is the carbon-negative, mobile-first, EVM-compatible blockchain ecosystem leading a thriving new digital economy for all.

Avalanche (C-Chain)

Avalanche is an open, programmable smart contracts platform for decentralized applications.

Mumbai (Polygon)

Polygon test network. Do not use for production.

Base Goerli (Testnet)

Main Ethereum test network. Do not use for production.

Palm

The Palm network is an Ethereum-compatible sidechain, built to serve as the foundation of a new scalable and sustainable ecosystem for NFTs. It is designed by, and for, Ethereum developers and features low gas costs and fast transaction finality.
